Meet Kristina Angeline – Program Coordinator
As the program coordinator at the NASA West Virginia Space Grant Consortium since October 2023, Angeline plays a pivotal role in managing and coordinating various educational and research initiatives. She is currently taking the lead on starting a NASA WV Student Ambassador program that will launch in Fall 2024. With a strong background in event management and higher education, Kristina brings a wealth of experience to her current role.
Prior to joining the NASA WV Space Grant Consortium, Angeline served as the program coordinator at the West Virginia University Visitor Center, where she was instrumental in creating engaging and informative experiences for prospective students and visitors. Her career also includes roles as the events coordinator at Fairmont State University and the catering director for Fresh Hospitality, showcasing her expertise in hospitality and student management.
Angeline’s commitment to education is unwavering. She graduated from Fairmont State University in 2011, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an associate’s degree in culinary arts. Her thirst for knowledge continues, as she is set to attend WVU in the Spring of 2025 to pursue a master’s degree in communications.
With professional skills encompassing event management, hospitality, higher education, and student management, Angeline is particularly passionate about helping students find their way and supporting their academic and professional growth.
